How to get to Cotopaxi Lodge?

By Car:

Getting to Cotopaxi Lodge is easy! Simply use any navigation app (we recommend Google Maps), and follow the directions to our exact location.

By Shuttle:

We offer reasonably priced and safe taxis for only $25 one way, departing from Hostal Casa del Montañero in Machachi. The shuttle is available anytime, takes about 1 hour, and can carry up to 4 passengers.

By Bus:

You can also take public transportation to Cotopaxi Lodge:

1. First, catch a bus to Machachi from Terminal Sur in Quito. It’s about a 1-hour ride heading toward Latacunga, with a fare of approximately $1.
2. From Machachi, take a local bus to Santa Ana del Pedregal, and stay on until the last stop.
3. The bus from Machachi leaves at:
   • 04:30 AM
   • 07:00 AM
   • 10:00 AM
   • 13:00 PM
4. After that, it’s a 3.5 km walk to the lodge. Look for the sign for Cotopaxi Park and turn left.
